Josh stars in DJ Snake’s new video

Josh Hutcherson stars as a superhero in DJ Snake’s new video

DJ Snake borrowed a little movie magic for his new “Middle” music video, released Wednesday. The clip stars The Hunger Games‘ Josh Hutcherson as a lonely superhero who finds love with a fellow crime fighter played by Kiersey Clemons (Dope).

After locking eyes at a diner, the pair embark on a colorful adventure across the city, soaring above the streets as Snake’s bouncy electro hit plays on.

DJ Snake first rose to fame on the Lil Jon-assisted banger, “Turn Down for What,” most recently teaming up with Major Lazer for their danceable ear-worm “Lean On.” The French producer is at work on his debut album.

Josh to Star in Hulu Comedy “Future Man”

Josh Hutcherson to Star in Hulu Comedy ‘Future Man’ From Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg

Josh Hutcherson is headed for the small screen.

The Hunger Games star has been tapped to topline Hulu comedy pilot Future Man, The Hollywood Reporter has learned. Additionally, Hutcherson’s production company, Turkeyfoot, has also boarded the comedy and will produce.

Future Man, from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg, chronicles a janitor by day, world-ranked gamer by night who is tasked with preventing the extinction of humans after mysterious visitors from the future declare him to be the key to defeating the imminent super-race invasion.

Hutcherson will star as the lead, Josh Futturman. The character still lives at home with his parents, and has a dead-end job as a janitor at a sexual disease research center called Devlin. Because of a sickly adolescence, Josh is socially inept, has low self-esteem and can’t approach women. The only thing he excels at is Cybergeddon, a video game set in a dystopian future where his character, Future Man, has the top ranking in the world. When Josh beats the final level, he’s visited by characters from the game who claim it is a training manual and he’s been selected to travel back in time and help them save the world. Is he ready? Absolutely not.

From Sony Pictures Television, Rogen’s Point Grey Pictures and Matt Tolmach Productions. Kyle Hunter and Ariel Schaffir (Rogen’s Sausage Party) will pen the script and exec produce with Rogen, Goldberg, James Weaver and Matt Tolmach. Rogen and Goldberg will also direct the pilot.

Hutcherson’s credits include the Hunger Games franchise, The Kids Are All Right, Journey to the Center of the Earth and its sequel as well as Bridge to Terabithia. He’s repped by CAA, manager Rick Beddingfield and attorney Adam Kaller. He most recently completed The Disaster Artist and The Long Home.
