JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH
Available on October 28, Warner Brothers will soon release the DVD and Blu-ray 2008 remake of French novelist Jules Verne’s classic sci-fi/fantasy adventure (originally written in 1864).
Starring Brendon Frasier and relative newcomer Josh Hutcherson, the film features outstanding visual effects, and will surely please audiences with Warner’s added “3-D” presentation on both the DVD and Blu-ray editions. The studio is packaging four pairs of 3-D glasses with either edition. Viewers can also watch the film in the normal “2-D” presentation (no glasses required).
The standard-definition, single-disc DVD offers the film in both 16×9 anamorphic-enhanced Widescreen and 4×3 Full-screen (each version shown in 2-D on Side A), as well as the special anamorphic Widescreen 3-D presentation on Side B.

The high-definition Blu-ray disc offers the film in Widescreen only, with included viewing options of both 2-D or the special 3-D presentation. Also, the bonus featurettes are available in HD resolution (unlike the DVD).

I was waiting for this movie to come out on dvd, i don’t like going to theatres to see movies anymore. it’s jus too expensive! but i will definitely be picking up this dvd.
if you guys are interested in a movie that kinda deals with going to the center of the earth, and all that hollow earth business, there’s this movie that’s a bit more complex, and really rad! it kinda reminds me of dune, if anyone has seen it. anyways, the movie is called Chronicles of Hollow Earth: The Next Race, has anyone ever heard of it? it’s pretty awesome! i ordered the dvd. u guys should check it out! jus go on to http://www.youtube.com/thenextrace
